Resources used- First aid, uworld, Boards and beyond
Preparation -
Started in mid September with FA and uworld systemwise, initially used first aid express videos to understand FA but switched to boards and beyond later. Also used kaplan videos for autonomic and cvs pharmacology.
First time uworld score 65-75%
First go of FA and uw took around 2.5 months.
Second go - FA and boards and beyond together with note taking in FA from bnb. It took around 3.5 weeks
Second round UW random timed mode- 100 q per day score 80-90% ... could complete around 2200 q in 22 days
Last 10-12 days last read of FA
Exam day- could sleep for only 4 hrs
Was going good till 5 blocks after which I started having headache despite taking tyelenol...I somehow managed to complete the test with all my energy.
Had a lot of stress after the exam and could remember only the wrong questions... I expected around 235 after the exam.
I am an old graduate and a mom of two (2 and 5 yr olds) and have done residency in pathology in home country. (That’s why I didn’t use pathoma).
